Graveyard of religion

I was on my way home
passing through the vast lands
lands of sugarcane fields risen above man
rice crops coloring the nature green
when I saw a barren land tagged 'Muslim Graveyard'
instantly I felt how a graveyard can be religious
I might have come accross these many times
like Hindu ghats and Muslim graveyards
but sesitiveness was shut to these for years

Religion has rooted so deep
even religion haunts the grave
I wondered what religion does the soul have
will the mourning of muslim a music or
will the hindu hymn make them happy
if there is at all a reincarnation
what would be their religion then
what birth has given , even death could not evade

In the name of god, countless evils happen
where are the saviours when sinners rule
I am on the way to save , says one
I will wake up after 3000 years , says another
why have they waited or slept so long

God has created the man , they say
but man has created the god and
through god, the caste and the religion to
divide and rule and to suppress the man
and those who doesnot know that man is god and god is man

Let our religion be humanism
where kith and kin can live in peace and prosper
peace in our homeland not in the graveyard
Let the graveyard be not religious but of religionism
